Abstract: Enrolments are up There was a sharp increase in first-year numbers in 2019 for both the forestry science and forest engineering degree programmes. Important factors have been an increasing awareness of forestry through the One Billion Trees programme and the Zero Carbon Bill which have put forestry at centre stage. Early indicators are that enrolments for 2020 will also be high.
