Abstract: The 100-year anniversary of the establishment of the New Zealand Forest Service was marked with a celebration at Parliament on 24 September 2019 hosted by the Hon Shane Jones, Minister of Forestry, and also attended by the Rt Hon Winston Peters, Deputy Prime Minister. There were some 120 guests, including Members of Parliament and past and present key members from the forestry sector.
