Abstract: A survey was sent to 50 NZIF members chosen at random. The answers were anonymous, but the response was not wonderful. Only 18 replied. This might be due to the nature of the questions or the short notice. But as we don’t know the views of the non-respondents, no confidence can be placed on the statistical validity of the answers. They are interesting anyway. Respondents could provide more than one answer to a question, or choose not to answer it at all. There was also opportunity to provide verbal comments, but none were sufficiently insightful to merit repetition. The “votes” for each answer appears in brackets.
