Abstract: This review focuses on internal wood quality of radiata pine (Pinus radiata), especially as regards modern clearwood regimes on ex-farm sites. The specific internal wood quality problem includes wood density, stiffness, longitudinal shrinkage, stability, compression wood, spiral grain and microfibril angle.
