Abstract: This paper provides an outline of the generalities of the problem on logging truck stability (roll-over accidents) in New Zealand, including the legal limits of the mass and dimensions of heavy trucks, and detailed the relevant mechanics. Conclusions and recommendations based on the mechanical analysis of the problem are presented.
