Some Establishment Problems in Southland and Otago

Abstract: This paper defines briefly the more important basic planning principles to be considered in a large afforestation programme. In addition, detailed nursery and establishment problems are examined, with particular reference to nursery management tree stock quality and handling under Southland conditions.
