Abstract: This paper summarises the key highlights in 2021 for the Forest Industry Safety Council (FISC), a notfor- profit organisation, and outlines how it intends to expand its focus in 2022 and onwards. As the forestry industry changes and matures, FISC needs to adapt its work to ensure it is delivering initiatives that make a difference to the wellbeing and safety of people working in the forest industry. FISC encourages forestry businesses to get in touch if they want to support its work, share their experiences or discuss the challenges facing the industry.
